The GIOTTO SPOT 400 CMY is the latest addition to the Giotto 400 Series of moving light fixtures, designed for use in high-profile entertainment applications, in concerts, theatres and television studios. GIOTTO SPOT 400 CMY offers the most advanced features in its class, including a 400w hot re-strikeable MSR lamp source, 9°-24° motorized zoom, advanced CMY color generation mixing system + 1 color wheel with 6 dichroic colors and open, 2 rotating indexable gobo wheels and an animation wheel. In addition the fixture features a linear iris, linear frost, linear CTO filter, 1 rotating prism and an electronic flicker free ballast. GIOTTO SPOT 400 CMY was designed paying great attention to noise levels, silent operation and cooling being a key priority for houses of worship, theatre and television studio applications. The Giotto series is virtually silent. The head movement and the fixture's internal mechanism also have an extremely low noise level. A phonometric test done by Institute Giordano S.p.a. in an anechoic chamber shows a noise level of only 31.8dB at 1 meter. Its unique cooling system is a hybrid between convection cooling and forced ventilation. Thanks to the thermal interface of the dichroic reflector with a metal heat sink, heat is dispersed towards the rear of the fixture and two very low-speed variable fans ensure sufficient air circulation for perfect fixture operation even when in high surrounding temperatures up to 122 degrees. GIOTTO SPOT 400 CMY is powerful and versatile, yet compact and lightweight; the fixture can be easily transported and installed by a single person, thanks to the rugged and practical handles and 'Fast Lock' hanging clamps.
